FAFC 2026 Reveals Programme Focused on Air Power Readiness
October 8, 2026

The organisers of the Future Air Force Conference 2026 have announced the conference programme, highlighting the key capability areas that will shape military aviation in the coming decade.

Scheduled to take place in Prague on 20-22 October 2026 the event will bring together air force leaders, planners, operators, industry representatives and academics to discuss the future of air power.

The newly announced agenda reflects some of the most pressing challenges facing modern air forces. Conference discussions will focus on air mobility and multirole platforms, advanced sensing and electronic warfare, armed UAV operations and training, and broader issues of training, interoperability and capability development. These themes are directly linked to operational readiness, survivability and the ability of air forces to generate combat power in an increasingly complex security environment.

The programme also addresses the growing impact of technological change on military aviation. Topics such as manned-unmanned teaming, AI-enabled systems, multi-domain operations and the integration of advanced simulation technologies reflect the evolving demands placed on pilots and air force personnel. The future training systems must prepare airmen to operate in highly digital and network-centric environments while maintaining operational effectiveness and adaptability.
