Air Mobility and Multirole Platforms

UAV Operations, Training, and Integrated Defence
The final day addresses unmanned aerial systems (UAVs) as a central component of modern warfare, capable of ISR, precision strikes, and integrated operations alongside manned platforms. The programme explores operational concepts such as swarming, loitering munitions, and manned-unmanned teaming (MUM-T), alongside the critical role of training, simulation, and AI in operator readiness. The closing block expands to perimeter security and integrated air and missile defence (IAMD), emphasizing the protection of military bases against complex, multi-layered threats. Discussions focus on combining sensors, C-UAS solutions, AI, and mobile defence systems into cohesive, adaptable architectures, underscoring that resilient infrastructure is essential to sustaining air operations in high-threat environments.
